Water Treatment

At the heart of our water treatment plants is our unique "Vibrating Filtration Technolgy (VFT)"

The technology uses vibration to create a shear wave on the surface of the filter membrane to keep large suspended solids off the surface of the membrane.  This process allows waste streams with high suspended and dissolved solids to be filtered without fouling the membrane.

The VFT process

Our Filter Membranes are subjected to rapid vibrations, oscillating at approximately 50 times per second with an amplitude of approximately 5/8" (~16 mm). This dynamic movement generates a shear wave on the membrane's surface (depicted in red), effectively preventing suspended solids and pollutants from adhering to it. This selective process allows smaller water molecules to pass through, creating two distinct streams: permeate and concentrate.
